Sage Nontoxic Skin Care and CBD began with this basic idea: what we put on our skin is equally as important as what we put into our bodies.
To stay healthy we eat fresh, organic foods full of vitamins and minerals. We all reduce stress differently, whether through exercise, aromatherapy, meditation, reiki, or other methods. Skin is our first line of defense against the environment and should be cared for using quality skin care products that contain fresh, organic, and natural ingredients.
We all age. There is no denying that; but what if we could age with healthy, vibrant skin? What if we could age with muscles and joints that were pain free?
I found that the products I was using offered amazing results, but did not work for me, regardless of the price. Most caused allergic reactions and were mainly made of fillers and included harmful chemicals that would cause my complexion to look dull and older than it was.
I also suffered from chronic pain and when necessary, used prescription pain pills and over the counter pain remedies. I experienced many unpleasant side effects from doing so.
Enough was enough. So, I created our line of organic and natural skin care treatments and topical CBD balm. As the owner, and with a background in quality assurance, I knew that every product had to be crafted from the highest quality ingredients that were free of harmful chemicals, artificial preservatives, and fillers.
One of the main ingredients in our skin care products and CBD products is ethically sourced, raw, African shea butter. The shea butter is made by hand by widows in rural Ghana and provides these women the income needed to support their families and provide education to their children. In my opinion, that is a labor of love. I feel good knowing that I’m contributing to their health and success by purchasing their shea butter and supporting their efforts.
